There is so much new music out there, even in the obscure genre of "progressive metal". I wanted a reference to the most unique and original songs that the bands out there are releasing, and this is the thing.

The selection of bands, songs and albums presented here are after my taste. If you like what you hear, follow me and enjoy their music!

Remember that it is important to support the musicians by buying and promoting their music!

Progressive Metal... wth?

By progressive I mean modern, intelligent music that is as challenging to play as it is to listen to. And metal relates to the sound of distorted guitars and unclean singing. I'm aware that I sneak in jazz stuff too. It's the rhythm and constant motion that appeals, I think.
